Biz Lucent offers a flexible Domain Rental Program for businesses, startups, and creators to temporarily use high-value Web2 domains (such as .com, .org, .net) without purchasing them outright. This allows you to test a brand, launch a campaign, or secure naming rights while postponing a full acquisition.

Web2 Domain Leasing (GoDaddy-Managed Domains)

  • Managed through Biz Lucent’s GoDaddy portfolio
  • Lessee receives DNS control during rental term

2. Rental Term Options

Biz Lucent offers the following standard terms:

  • Monthly rental
  • Quarterly rental
  • Annual rental
  • Rent-to-Own (RTO)
  • Custom enterprise leases

Discounts apply to annual or multi-domain rentals.

4. Restrictions & Conditions

  • Domains cannot be resold, transferred, or subleased while rented
  • All usage must comply with U.S. cyber laws, Biz Lucent’s Acceptable Use Policy, trademark rules, and ICANN/UD governance
  • High-value domains may require identity verification
  • Violations may result in immediate termination of the rental agreement

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments are made upfront for the chosen rental period
  • No refunds for early termination or unused time
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit, ACH/wire
  • Late payments may result in domain suspension after 5 days

6. Buyout / Purchase Options

Most rentals include an optional Buyout Price available anytime during the rental period. If the lessee purchases the domain, Biz Lucent will:

  • Release DNS control
  • Transfer ownership following ICANN guidelines
  • Any rental payments already made may be credited toward purchase under Rent-to-Own terms

7. Biz Lucent Rental Guarantee

  • All rented domains are fully owned and managed by Biz Lucent
  • DNS uptime is guaranteed at 99.9%
  • All data transfers and records follow GoDaddy security standards and ICANN compliance
